Balm formulated with an exquisitely balanced blend of pearl and glitter particles, that visually fill the look of wrinkles. It also lifts the appearance of the face through a gua sha-inspired effect.
Problem
The formulation needed a certain level of firmness to achieve a gua sha-inspired effect. The challenge, however, was that a bulk formulation that was too firm could potentially create the appearance of more wrinkles.
Approach
We refined the bulk formulation so that it would soften when warmed in the palms, allowing it to glide smoothly across the skin. This made it possible for it to visually fill wrinkles while also enabling facial massage during application.
